It’s not long now until the Caturday, May 31, 2025 Edmonton International Cat Festival!
If you’ve already purr-chased tickets—thank meow! 100% purr-ceeds are donated to cat rescues. This year’s donation recipient is Little Cats Lost! If you haven’t yet—pre-purrchase online to save ($15 online in advance). The ticket price goes up at the door ($20 cash in person, or $25 online - day-of price increase including processing fees).
The first 100 people through the Main Floor Main Entrance (from 109 St./104 Ave.) receive a swag bag!
Doors open at 10 a.m. - line-up before that for a chance at swag plus you'll get first dibs at the MEOWNY CATiVITIES happening at the festival before the festival floor (both Main Floor and Second Floor) gets too busy!

The schedule includes a breakdown of presentations on the Main Stage presented by City of Edmonton Animal Care & Control Centre, CATivities throughout the Main Floor and Second Floor of the festival venue, plus meowny all-ages CATivities that are INCLUDED with your festival ticket!

Dress in your cat-themed best!
On May 31, you're encouraged to bring out your best cat-themed clothing!! It's the most purr-fect day for your catty outfits and one of our favourite things about gathering cat lovers together. Our team will be on the look-out and festivalgoers might be surprised with some cat-themed freebies simply for looking purr-fect!
(Of course, this is not a mandatory dress code—it’s just fun!)
Plan to purrtake in Cat Crafts!
Visit our Cat Crafts Zone (Booth #45 on the Second Floor), for a variety of cat craftin’ perfect for all ages! Make paper bag cats, pipe cleaner cat headbands, cat colouring sheets, cat stickering, cat paw ornaments (while supplies last). Also CAT LEGO, Cat Origami, Cat Board Games with Let's POP YEG (Booth #19 on the Main Floor)!!
These CATivities run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are included with your festival admission!
Last call for yoga + workshops!
End your festival day at the Cat Fur / Hair Crafting Workshop taking place in Room #9-102 (#4 on the Floor Plan, Main Floor), from 4-4:45 p.m. You’ll be making little cat fur sandals! * No pre-registration required, just show up! Bring your cat hair if you have it - otherwise some fur will be provided.
There’s also just a few spots left for our 12-1 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. CAT/KITTEN YOGA classes with Janelle Snow of Yogalife Studios! (#50 on the Floor Plan, Second Floor).
A festival ticket AS WELL AS A SEPARATE Cat Yoga ticket is required to access this class.

Don’t miss Siberian Reinahrdt, Perseus & Paisley + Louie & Todd’s Q&A on the Main Stage, and Meet & Greets (NEW LOCATION- SECOND FLOOR of venue, Booth #47 on the Floor Plan)! These are included with your festival admission, first come first serve.
