The countdown is ON for the May 31, 2025 Edmonton International Cat Festival!
We’ve been making a lot of exciting ameowncements over the last few weeks:
Our May 31 Festival Schedule is live!
It includes a breakdown of presentations on the Main Stage presented by City of Edmonton Animal Care & Control Centre, CATivities throughout the Main Floor and Second Floor of the festival venue, as well as breakout purgramming workshops! Meowny CATivities are INCLUDED with your festival ticket and 100% purr-ceeds from the festival will be donated to Little Cats Lost rescue.

$15 online in-advance
$20 at the door (cash only, ATM on site)
Kids 12 & under get in FREE!

This year we’re offering a variety of cat-themed workshops on site, during the festival on May 31! Meowny of these CATivities are FREE (included with your festival admission) but do require registration for limited available spots. Tickets are released at 10 a.m. on Caturday, May 24, so mark your calendars! You can also plan to drop into meowny CATivities throughout the festival day, no pre-registration required.

Cat-themed Dungeons & Dragons * pre-registration required

Our two pre-festival Cat/Kitten Yoga classes were a big success, we were able to raise more than $1,000 for Community Cats Edmonton thanks to your support!
We are offering TWO MORE Cat/Kitten Yoga classes on site at the festival May 31 with Janelle Snow of Yogalife Studios.
Limited spots for these classes go on sale May 24 at 10 a.m. Please note a festival ticket AS WELL AS A SEPARATE Cat Yoga ticket is required to access this class.
We’re so excited for our Celebrity Cats!
This year’s FIVE Celebrity Cat Guests have more than a million followers and passport stamps from 15+ countries and regions between them. Don’t miss Siberian Reinahrdt, Perseus & Paisley + Louie & Todd’s Q&A on the Main Stage, and Meet & Greets (NEW LOCATION- SECOND FLOOR of venue) throughout the day! These are included with your festival admission, on a first come first serve basis.

Enter Edmonton’s Most Purr-fect Cat Photo Contest by Sunday, May 25!
The deadline for our annual Most Purr-fect Cat Photo Contest is coming up on May 25! Don’t meowss out. All submissions are shown on the big screen at the festival and the Top 3 Most Purr-fect Cats (determined by a panel of cat-lovin’ judges) win prizes!
Did we mention 100% purr-ceeds are donated to support cat rescues?? Since 2014, the Edmonton Cat Festival has donated $170,000 to help cats in need!
This year’s proceeds will help Little Cats Lost!
